stupid. poem 4

i was stupid to be your mate
i was stupid to be your date
you were my man
but you were my stupid fan
you were my stupid light
but now you gave me yall your might
you were my stupid toy
that turned into a boy
you were my peace,my patch,my prize and my presnt

you were my pack
now you sit in a sack
you act like a mack
you stupid that you lost me
i was stupid for loving you
i was stupid for being faithful
i was stupid for caring
i was stupid for not sharing
i was stupid for wanting to be your wife
but i thought i was your life
now thats what you call stupid

You have rhyming couplets, but this poem (#4) was supposed to have only the 2nd and 4th, 6th and 8th, etc. lines rhyming.
